Your Next Listing Could Come From a Handyman

Your next seller may already be talking to a mover, a home organizer, or a handyman.

They’re clearing out a parent’s home. Downsizing. Fixing things before a move.

These vendors can become a great source of listing referrals—and building those ties doesn’t cost money.

Start by getting to know their business. Ask who they help and how you can support them. Refer them when they’re a good fit.

Then say:

“If a client has questions about selling, feel free to offer them my number. I’m happy to help, even if they’re months away from moving.”

The key? Stay in touch.

Calling once and asking for leads is like proposing on the first date. A bit much. 😂

This week, reach out to three vendors. Learn about their work and start building trust.

You don’t always need more leads. Sometimes you need stronger relationships.
