Listing Agents Have a Hard Time With This One

Minimum standards matter.

You need daily actions that keep new opportunities flowing into your listing pipeline.

But here is the part many agents miss:

A full pipeline is worthless if it is full of weak leads.

You do not need more tire-kickers, unrealistic sellers, or people who may sell “someday.”

They take your time, drain your energy, and rarely turn into signed listings.

Focus your energy on:

  • Sellers with a strong reason to move

  • Listings above your current average sales price

  • Quality opportunities with a real chance of converting

  • People who are ready to make decisions

Then follow up aggressively. Stay in front of them. Add value.

Be the agent they remember when the time comes to list.

But do not confuse chasing unmotivated people with productive follow-up.

Your goal is not just to put more leads into your pipeline.

Your goal is to put better listings into it.

Quality and quantity both matter.

But a smaller pipeline filled with motivated, high-value sellers will beat a huge pipeline filled with junk every time.

Raise your standards—not only for what you do each day, but also for the opportunities you allow into your business.
